Mr. Allen Chombo

Mr. Chombo joined AICAD in 2003 as an Internal Auditor. He had over 25 years of working experience attained from various organizations before joining AICAD. These included the Tanzania Audit Corporation as an external auditor,  the Tanzania Railways Corporation as the Senior Accountant; the East African Development Bank as an internal auditor and the Tanzania International Container Terminal Services Limited as the Management Accountant. Mr. Chombo has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in International Business Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. At AICAD he is responsible for reviewing the accounting systems and related internal control systems, examination of financial and operating information and detailed testing of transactions and balances as well as ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks
